❓ What is I-Matter
Teenagers have so much to contend with. Between trying to figure out who they are and where they fit in to in the world, the pressures of social media and throw hormones into the mix and life can be pretty hard to figure out. They also now have the added stress of lockdown which has been challenging for everyone.
The I-Matter program helps teens become aware of the things that causes them stress and equips them with the relevant tools and resources to better manage stress and anxiety, so they can live happier, more resilient lives.
The 4 week programme will provide teens with a safe and compassionate environment where participants will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings with their peers.
This will encourage effective communication, build confidence and raise self esteem.
They will learn all about self-awareness, Social Awareness and Relationship Skills.
This program will provide teens with a range of tools to enable them to cope with stress and anxieties through various methods such as group work, meditation techniques, fitness and creativity.
